WHO WE ARE
Ernest White II
Ernest White II is a worldbuilder, CEO and founder of Presidio Pictures. He is the executive producer and host of award-winning travel docu-series FLY BROTHER with Ernest White II, and writer and executive producer of award-winning podcast Deadman’s Curse: Slumach’s Gold . A former journalist, educator, and graduate of Florida A&M University, Ernest holds an MFA in Creative Writing from American University. His favorite films include Eve’s Bayou, The Age of Innocence, Flower Drum Song, and Passing Strange.
Pedro Serra
Pedro Serra is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and journalist, with a love of global stories. He has directed several Presidio Pictures productions, including FLY BROTHER with Ernest White II and Pearl: My World. Originally from Brazil and with a background in newspaper journalism, Pedro has a thematic focus as a filmmaker that centers our environment and local cultures. His documentaries and television series have covered everything from political turmoil to Brazilian Carnival.
Amanda Powers
Amanda Powers is an experienced sales and marketing professional and an avid travel enthusiast, dedicated to supporting the art of storytelling. With a passion for cultivating partnerships and sponsorships that showcase captivating narratives, Amanda brings expertise and enthusiasm to every project. Driving revenue growth and fostering meaningful connections, she excels in building strategic marketing solutions. Amanda holds a BA in Communications from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
